Emily Jo Wiadro

In 1999, Emily Jo experienced her own physical and emotional transformation through diving into the practice of yoga. With this awakening, Emily Jo embarked on a mission of sharing this healing practice and making it accessible for ALL.   


In 2006, she acquired her 200 hour teacher training through Lotus Gardens Yoga in CT and continued her training with Joseph and Lillian Le Page of Integrative Yoga Therapy 2007-2009.  As a certified Practitioner of Vibrational Therapy,  Emily Jo now expertly blends many modalities to support focusing and unifying body, mind and soul.  


 Emily Jo brings 25 years of yoga, dance, and teaching experience to her uniquely satisfying and joyful yoga practices, fully accessible for ALL. 


You can find Emily Jo teaching online via www.emilyjoflow.com as well as, www.Ompractice.com both live and interactive platforms.  She also enjoys teaching in person locally at Inner Heat Yoga in Brattleboro, VT, and offering one on one sessions ( both in person and virtually).

The word "yoga" means "to yoke".  This ancient healing practice of Yoga draws our attention inward, through mindful breathing (pranayama) and attention to our body through asana (the poses of yoga).  Through the light-hearted, sangha centered,  therapeutically based practice at healix, students find a new sense of space and ease of being.

"I have been actively trying to arrange my work schedule to attend Emily's classes, because they are so beneficial.  I appreciate several things about these classes-- one is that Emily is incredibly thoughtful about cueing in a way that helps ease into each posture with intention. As someone with some physical issues, I appreciate knowing the intent and alignment that is being sought, and all the places I can stop or modify. I also appreciate that she incorporates the sanskrit terms, English terms, and a decription for each posture. She actively observes us and provides gentle redirection first and then even direct guidance to us individually when needed to help us better access the intent of each posture with what we are showing up with. As a relative beginner, this is so helpful and I feel like I'm growing my understanding of yoga. Finally, Emily somehow transmits connection and healing energy through her classes. When taking her class, you really feel like you are in community and sharing energy with the others practicing. I always leave feeling incredibly grounded and also as if there has been some space clearing inside my body with so much of my tightness lessened; leaving what's no longer needed and taking with me space for what's next. Sometimes, I think the more simple classes really are the most complex and it takes a real teacher to help a class feel this accessible. So happy to have found her class. Much gratitude!"
